Firm History

Umbach & Associates was established in 1968, an outgrowth of a small West Side of Evansville public accounting firm, directing its services to the needs of small and medium sized businesses in Southwestern Indiana.  From a small accounting and tax practice comprised of a handful of employees, our firm has grown to encompass all the wide and varied services of major public accounting firms:  Auditing, Small Business, Tax, and Financial Services.

Our young, professional, and aggressive firm has an unlimited outlook for development.  That development is dependent upon a quality staff and continued client satisfaction.
